** Essential exterior decoration works are scheduled for the North and East elevations of the house requiring scaffolding during July, August, September and October 2008. The interior will not be affected. The National Trust is offering a substantial discount of 50% for the exclusive hire of Clandon Park as a wedding venue over this period. The main entrance on the West face and the parterre on the South side of the house as well as the Marble Hall provide excellent settings for reception drinks and photographs and are unaffected by the building works.
